Headset Troubles
Alright seriously. I'm not made of money guys, $62 is about the upper end of what I'd budget for a gaming headset. So about 2 weeks ago i head over to Gamestop and drop the cash on the Tritton AX 120 headset. Excellent quality compared to the PoS Logitech $10 wraparounds I was using so I was more than happy. Appears my head is a few sizes too large to contain them and within a week i pushed the weak ass stress point above the left earpiece to it's limit. Shit snapped off. Alright cool whatever let's just exchange it. Done deal, only a week later pair #2 does the EXACT SAME THING. At this point i'm sick of Gamestop anyway so I call Madcatz up to figure out what they can do for me. Pretty much what i expected, 30 minutes of shitty hold music then "We can exchange it at your cost to ship?" great. So I say fuck it and go to Gamestop. They pretty much tell me to get bent unless I want to pay 10 bucks to upgrade to the next set up and no option for a refund. Good thing there's a second store across the street (gotta love their Starbucks attitude for expansion). So I head on over, totally bro behind the counter. Dude just wants to help, couldn't ask for more. Long story short I leave the place with a set of Turtle Beach X11's. Seriously, last time I go to Gamestop for accessories, if this had been Bestbuy I'd have gotten a HJ and cash in Hand. Also pretty sure (207) 945-5933 has plenty of copies of Battletoads in, you should check it out.
